Travel Junkie Indonesia is an internationally popular travel blog that shares expert travel advice and stories from exotic destinations.
My style of travel focuses on quirky, human interest stories with an emphasis on culture, social activism, responsible travel, and sustainable travel. My mission is to create awareness of issues typically not addressed in the travel genre. While many travel pieces focus on mainstream sanitized tourist attractions, I try to push the boundaries of the travel writing genre, traveling solo through off-the-beaten path locations on a quest for unique stories and amazing adventures.
I’ve been featured as a travel expert by nationally Indonesia and international magazine, as well as other major media outlets. Travel Junkie Indonesia — writing the books of Nomadic, Bali is My Country, and The Journeys 2: Cerita dari Tanah Air Beta.

In the spirit of celebrating travel, I bring you Travel Junkie Indonesia, a regular blog that follows my adventures (and misadventures) across the globe. I’ll take it to the extreme…exploring everything from unique customs, to historic sites, adrenaline-soaked activities, to bizarre foods, local budget getaways to high-end holidays. I’ll also share tips and travel advice, helpful for planning your own travel adventures, international and domestic.
